This page explains how Bitfell Learn collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you use our website, contact us, book a call, purchase training, or access our learning platform.
Who we are
Bitfell Learn (“we”, “us”) is the trading name of Bitfell Technology Ltd, the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@bitfell.co.uk. Our registered company details are in the footer of every page.
What information we collect
- Enquiry and booking details — your name, organisation, email, phone, and the information you share when you contact us, book a call, or request a proposal.
- Training and platform data — where you take part in training or use the Bitfell Summit platform, information needed to deliver and manage that learning (e.g. course progress).
- Website analytics — privacy-first, cookieless analytics that measure aggregate traffic and do not identify you personally.
How we use your information
To respond to enquiries, arrange and deliver training, manage platform access and learner progress, send information you request, and meet our legal and contractual obligations.
Legal bases for processing
We rely on legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated), performance of a contract (delivering training and platform access), and consent where required (e.g. optional newsletters).
How long we keep information
Only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
Who we share information with
Trusted service providers who help us operate — for example form delivery, hosting and analytics, scheduling/booking, and platform infrastructure — each acting under appropriate terms.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK/EEA, we rely on recognised safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, or erase your data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Email hello@bitfell.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
