Privacy Policy

Last updated

This policy explains what personal data Bitfell collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It applies to this website, bitfell.co.uk.

Who we are

Bitfell Technology Ltd (“Bitfell”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@bitfell.co.uk. Our registered company details are in the footer of every page.

What we collect

We collect only what we need:

  • Enquiry details. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and — if you provide them — your company, phone number, and the contents of your message.
  • Analytics. We use a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool (Cloudflare Web Analytics) that measures aggregate traffic. It does not set cookies and does not collect data that identifies you personally.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data.

Why we collect it, and our lawful basis

We use your enquiry details solely to respond to you and, if it leads somewhere, to discuss and provide our services. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is legitimate interests (responding to a business enquiry you initiated) and, where a relationship follows, performance of a contract.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted processors to run the site and handle enquiries:

  • Form delivery — submissions from the contact form are processed by our form provider and delivered to our inbox.
  • Hosting & analytics — the site is hosted on, and its aggregate analytics provided by, Cloudflare.

Each processes data on our behalf under appropriate terms. We do not transfer your data outside the UK/EEA except where those providers do so under recognised safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which it is deleted. Aggregate analytics contain no personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@bitfell.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the current version.
